The Brighton Bowling Club founded in 1892 is looking for experienced players and newcomers to the game who will receive tuition and friendly encouragement. Spare sets of bowls are available for use of newcomers. If you are interested then come and join us. For new members joining our 2007 Bowling season a special reduced introductory club subscription of £25 will apply.
Our six rink outdoor green is available all day, any day with regular friendly matches on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons in good company.
The new 2007 bowls season has now officially started and the club would like to offer a warm welcome to all members. Our goals this year are to build upon last years successes. These included winning the Edward Rowland Cup and gaining promotion to division 2 of the Brighton and Hove District League. Again this year there will be many new opportunities to become involved in friendly competitive matches. We have a large number of club games planned and hope to see another year with good turnout and success.
The committee along with the rest of the Brighton Club would like to thank Graham Cosham for his continuing efforts to improve the Bowling facilities for all.
The Club is affiliated to the E.B.A through the Sussex County Bowling Association to whom our Vice-President is County Treasurer. We are also affiliated to the Brighton, Hove and District Bowls League and have two league sides playing in Division 2 and Division 7.
