The Brighton Bowling Club was founded in 1892  and is the oldest bowls club in East Sussex, and celebrated its 125th anniversary last year.  Bowling is a sport that any reasonably fit person of any age or gender can play and we welcome both  experienced players and new bowlers to our Club where you will receive coaching if required and friendly encouragement. Spare sets of bowls are available for use by newcomers.  We have for many years earned the reputation of being a friendly Club and with a large fixture list, can offer members every opportunity to participate in games both home and away.

If you are interested then come and join us.

Our six rink outdoor green is available all day, any day with regular friendly matches on weekday and Saturday afternoons in good company.

The new 2018 bowls season will be starting in April 2018. There will be many new opportunities to become involved in friendly competitive matches. We have a large number of club games planned and hope to see another year with good turnout and success.

The Club is affiliated to the E.B.A through the Sussex County Bowling Association to whom our Vice-President is County Treasurer. We are also affiliated to the Brighton, Hove & District Bowling League and have two league sides playing in Division 1 and Division 5. In addition we are also affiliated to the Sussex County Women’s Bowling Association and the Brighton, Hove & District Women’s Bowling League.
